About Squelch Lab
We started Squelch Lab because radio boxes promise “up to 35 miles” and nobody publishes what you get on a real trail. We’re building the range course to find out.
What we do
We research GMRS gear from manufacturer documentation and FCC filings, and we check every frequency and limit against 47 CFR Part 95. We also build free tools, like the channel chart & planner and the license wizard.
What we haven’t done yet
We haven’t tested any radio or antenna. Pages are marked researched, and every result slot reads pending until we’ve run our published protocol.
